Your deposit holds your picking order spot. Puppies are chosen in order of deposits placed. For example, if there are 3 families with reservations before you, then you will have 4th pick from the litter on going home day. I don’t allow picking before this day because all the information about the puppies is not available. We do temperament testing on day 49-50, and those are posted on youtube for families to view. Also the vet check up is done about 7-8 weeks old and if there is anything wrong with a puppy we won’t know until that appointment. If the puppy you wanted is not available on going home day, you can choose to move your deposit to a future litter.
Each puppy comes with a 2 year health guarantee against any genetic issues. Please see our puppy contract below:
1. Terms of Payment
1.1. Buyer agrees to pay Seller the purchase price of $_____ for the above-referenced puppy. A deposit of $300 has been paid. The remainder of $_____ was paid by cash or Zelle.
2. Nutrition and Supplementation
2.1. Buyer agrees to provide the puppy with a balanced and nutritional food source, adequate physical exercise, and to maintain the Puppy at a healthy weight. Time spent in a crate must be limited to feeding, sleep, and brief periods when Buyer is not home.
2.2. This Puppy is to be kept as a house pet only. Extensive time in outside areas, garages, or tied up outside is not allowed. The Puppy is to be kept in the Buyer’s living quarters. Puppy is never to run off-lead except in a safely enclosed area that prevents the Puppy from escaping.
2.3. The Buyer shall keep records of and provide the Puppy with all routine vaccinations according to the schedule provided by Breeder, parasite prevention, necessary veterinary care upon sickness, disease, or injury, and shall take it to a veterinarian for regular health examinations throughout its lifetime.
2.4. The Buyer shall provide the animal with humane care and maintain it in accordance with all current and future state, county, and municipal laws and ordinances where the Buyer resides or will reside.
2.5. Puppies are sold to pet homes only. Puppy is never to be bred or used for stud purposes. The Buyer agrees to spay or neuter the puppy before its 2nd birthday.
3. Health Agreement
3.1. Seller believes the puppy is in good health, to the best of her knowledge, at the time of this agreement as well as at the time of delivery.
3.2. All veterinary expenses incurred by Buyer are the Buyer’s responsibility. Under no circumstance will Seller reimburse Buyer for veterinary expenses at any time or for any reason.
3.3. Should Buyer’s veterinarian establish any life-threatening health issues (excluding kennel cough, external and/or internal parasites, open fontanel, hernias, puppy murmur, undescended testicles, incorrect bite, strangles, vaccine reaction), Buyer must notify Seller within 72 hours of taking possession of the Puppy.
3.3.1. Buyer must immediately return the Puppy uninjured to Seller within 72 hours of taking possession of the Puppy for a full refund or a replacement puppy of Buyers choice from a future litter.
3.3.1.1. All return travel and/or shipping charges and supplies are Buyer’s responsibility.
3.3.1.2. Buyer agrees to provide Seller with the following information within 72 hours:
• Name, phone number, written statement, and signature from the licensed veterinarian that performed the examination,
with microchip number verified and noted.
• Signed release for the disclosure of all veterinarian records.
3.3.1.3. Should Buyer fail to notify Seller within the 72-hour time frame and deliver the Puppy to Seller within 72 hours along with required information, no refund or exchange will be provided.
3.3.2. Seller reserves the right to have the puppy examined by Seller’s veterinarian and diagnosis confirmed prior to offering a refund or exchange.
3.3.3. No refund or exchange will be provided if the puppy has experienced any trauma, neglect, abuse, injury, vaccination, medical procedure, or has been lost after transfer to Buyer’s possession.
3.4. Should the puppy expire within 72 hours from the time Buyer takes possession, Buyer agrees to take the deceased puppy to a licensed veterinarian for an autopsy.
3.4.1. If the puppy died of a definitive, diagnosable genetic, congenital, or preexisting condition within the first 2 years of life. Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equal value.
3.4.1.1. Buyer agrees to provide Seller with the following before an exchange is issued:
• Name, phone number, written statement, and signature from the veterinarian who performed the autopsy.
• Documentation of the puppy’s demise, including verified microchip number.
• Release for the disclosure of all veterinarian records.
• AKC registration paperwork if applicable, and all other documents provided by Seller.
3.4.2. Buyer agrees to notify Seller within the 72-hour time frame of the puppy’s death; failure to do so voids this agreement.
3.4.3. Seller reserves the right to have the autopsy report reviewed by Seller’s veterinarian.
3.4.4. Buyer understands this section is void if the puppy was voluntarily euthanized for any reason.
3.4.5. Should the puppy’s death be attributed to possible trauma, neglect, abuse, medical procedure, natural cause, accident, poison, injury, seizure, allergic reaction, vaccine injury, or over-vaccination, Buyer assumes all responsibility and agrees to hold Seller harmless.
3.4.6. Seller provides a genetic health guarantee against serious, inherited genetic disorders for a period of two (2) years from the date Buyer takes possession of the Puppy. This guarantee applies only to conditions that are proven to be hereditary and that significantly impair the Puppy’s quality of life.
This guarantee does not cover conditions that are environmental, developmental, or breed-associated but non-debilitating, including but not limited to allergies, parasites, infections, injuries, trauma, improper diet, obesity, over-exercise, under-exercise, or routine orthopedic conditions unless specifically diagnosed as hereditary and debilitating.
Buyer must notify Seller in writing within thirty (30) days of a qualifying diagnosis and must provide complete veterinary documentation from a licensed veterinarian, including diagnostic testing supporting the hereditary nature of the condition.
Seller reserves the right to obtain a second opinion from a veterinarian of Seller’s choosing before any obligation under this guarantee is determined.
If a covered genetic condition is confirmed within the guarantee period, Seller’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be one of the following, at Seller’s discretion:
a) Replacement of the Puppy with another puppy of equal value from a future available litter, or
b) Refund of the original purchase price.
No veterinary expenses, diagnostic costs, travel, shipping, or related expenses shall be reimbursed.
This genetic health guarantee shall be null and void if the Puppy has been bred, transferred to another owner without Seller’s written consent, neglected, abused, euthanized without medical necessity, or if Buyer fails to maintain appropriate veterinary care.
4. Relinquishing Ownership
4.1. Buyer agrees that should it become necessary to relinquish ownership of the puppy at any time, for any reason, Seller will be notified immediately and given the first option to have the puppy returned to the Seller. Seller will accept the Puppy back for any reason at any time.
4.1.1. Should ownership be relinquished to Seller, all shipping charges are Buyer’s responsibility, including forfeiture of the shipping crate. Buyer agrees to give Seller advance notice and sufficient time to arrange a schedule for return.
4.1.2. If Seller is able to resell the puppy, Buyer will receive a refund of the resale amount minus Seller’s related expenses, including but not limited to the non-refundable $300 deposit, veterinary care, food, boarding, and advertisement. Resale amount will be determined by Seller.
4.1.3. If relinquishing ownership for behavioral reasons, Buyer agrees to first consult with a veterinarian and a paid professional trainer and to give the puppy no less than one month to adjust to the new home environment. Written statements from the trainer and veterinarian will be provided to Seller upon request.
5. General Information
5.1. Buyer agrees that they are not acting as an agent and that the puppy is not being purchased with the intent of being bred, resold, traded, and/or auctioned. This includes, but is not limited to, any individual, group, charity, pet store, or medical research facility.
5.2. If the puppy should die for any reason other than neglect or abuse, Buyer will be able to purchase a future puppy from an available litter for one-half price.
6. Governing Law
This agreement is made and entered into in the State of Texas, Tarrant County, and shall be enforced and interpreted under the laws of this State and County.
Colors
Goldendoodles come in a variety of colors. The most common are red, brown, and cream.
As the Goldendoodle puppy grows up, most of their coats will lighten.
By submitting a deposit, you are agreeing that you understand the $300 deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is transferable to a future litter at any time.
